I was given my very first cook book at the age of 6 which ignited a passion for cookery that grows bigger each day. Inspired by the first TV Chefs of my generation, Madhur Jaffrey and Ken Hom, I spent many years learning as much as I could about food from around the world and have since worked in some of London’s finest 5 star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and top catering companies, as well as running my own events and catering business and teaching private cookery classes.
My Persian heritage means that food is very much part of my culture and I have great passion and flair for cooking cuisine from around the globe. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the greatest Chefs and food critics and have travelled the world extensively to better understand ingredients, traditions and flavours from other lands. Not just the pleasure of eating, but cooking, using different ingredients, understanding tastes and textures and how to take a few simple ingredients and turn them into something truly special.
